Our city’s shared plan to tackle climate change

Corridor Manchester

The Corridor Manchester partnership was established in 2007 in order to realise the unique potential that exists in the Oxford Road corridor area to the south of the city centre. It is home to 70,000 students, 60,000 jobs, with a further 14,000 jobs planned by 2025.

The Corridor has been used as a ‘living laboratory’ since the Partnership was established, with several projects completed and ongoing to reduce carbon emissions and increase resilience to climate change.

To ensure the Corridor Partnership can continue to contribute towards Manchester’s climate change targets, the Corridor Low Carbon and Environment Group brings the partners together to share best practice and develop new joint projects. Further information is available here.
