JOIN THE MANCHESTER CLIMATE CHANGE YOUTH PARTNERSHIP
The Manchester Climate Change Youth Partnership is open to 16 – 28-year-olds that live, work or study in Manchester. Membership is flexible with a range of ways to get involved, letting you choose what suits you!
Currently, there are two ways to join the Youth Partnership; through the Youth Network or the Youth Board.
THE YOUTH NETWORK
The Network is an informal group for anyone aged 16-28 to connect in to and exchange climate-related information, ideas, and opportunities.
Participants use a dedicated Slack channel to share and hear about training and skill development resources, job vacancies, chances to engage in Youth Partnership Projects, Youth Board openings, forthcoming events, and the latest climate-related news.
This network is an excellent opportunity to get involved without requiring a significant time commitment.
If you're interested in joining, simply click below and fill out the brief form provided.
THE YOUTH BOARD
The Board meets every two weeks and takes an active role in steering the Youth Partnership; creating youth-led projects, and making sure young people’s voices are heard by decision-makers across Manchester.
There is a higher level of commitment required than the Youth Network but it is a great opportunity for young people that are passionate about climate action and making a difference in Manchester.
Your background doesn’t matter. We believe that having diverse perspectives on our Youth Board makes us stronger and truly reflects the diversity of Manchester.
There are no vacancies on the Youth Board currently, join the Youth Network for the latest updates.
